Edward completed medical training in University of Newcastle in 2001 and underwent intership, residency years at Liverpool Hospital. He completed his Fellowship in General Surgery 2014 through Southern Health Victoria. Completed ASU Fellowship year 2015 at Nepean Hospital. In 2016Edward completed Masters of Surgery through University of Newcastle and in 2017 completed UGI/Bariatric Fellowship at Gosford Hospital and then in 2018 completed UGI/Bariatic Fellowship at St George public Hospital under supervision of Dr. Michael Talbot
